Neil Patrick Harris’s reaction to Abby Lee Miller’s latest social media post is legen—wait for it—dary. The Dance Momsalum attended a performance of the How I Met Your Motheractor’s Broadway play Artin New York City, where she waited outside the stage door tosnap photos with the cast, including James Corden and Bobby Cannavale.

But when Abby, 60, posted a selfie with Neil online, the 52-year-old’s face appeared visibly smoothed over—and he couldn’t help but point out the apparent retouching.

“Ummm…” he commented on the Dec. 1 Instagram post, “what did you do to my face..?”

And he wasn’t the only one taken aback by his changed appearance. One social media user commented, “Abby why did you do that to Neil,” while another wrote, “You guys are so airbrushed love it.”

But despite the eye-popping image, Abby gave the show a glowing review, calling  Neil, James and Bobby “incredible comedic actors.”

“On TV they are superstars, live on stage—their timing is impeccable,” she captioned her post, “and in person afterward—such gracious kind gentlemen! Thank you for an incredible evening if NY Theater!”

As Neil continues his Broadway run, he seems to be passing down his love for the arts to his 14-year-old twins Gideon and Harper, whom he shares with husband David Burtka. In fact, he’s not the only member of his household who’s been embracing performing lately.

“Gideon is in his school play right now,” he told People in September.“He’s inOne Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. So it’s fun to have him watch me and to talk shop. And Harper is amazingly talented and artistic as well.”

And that pride flows both ways, with Neil’shusband and kidsbeing sure to support him at thepreview showings ofArtbefore supporting him on opening night.

“I love that they’re able to come to the opening night and not say, ‘I hope it’s good,’” he continued, “but be representing and proud of papa and what he’s doing.”
