Two men killed in weekend triple shooting, Montgomery police say


Two men were killed and another was injured in a triple shooting in Montgomery on Saturday night, police say.

At about 7:40 p.m. Sept. 20, police and fire medics went to the 5100 block of Carmichael Road on report of people shot, said Lt. Ernestina McGriff a spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department. Officers found two men who had suffered fatal injuries from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead, she said. Another man suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, McGriff said.

The circumstances of the case remain under investigation, and no other information was immediately released. Police ask people with knowledge of the case to call CrimeStoppers at 334-215-STOP, the Secret Witness Line at 334-625-4000, or MPD at 334-625-2831.
