The Morning Show Season 5 is what fans are curious to know about after the series concluded its fourth installment recently. Given the show’s popularity, many are hopeful Apple will greenlight it. But can fans expect more chaos and newsroom politics?
Here is everything to know about the possibility of Season 5 and if the show has been renewed for another installment.
Is The Morning Show canceled or renewed for Season 5?
Fortunately, Apple has renewed The Morning Show for Season 5. The decision came in September 2025.
Apple TV+’s head of programming, Matt Cherniss, in a statement, claimed that the show “has been a standout from the very start.” He continued, “The Morning Show continues to deliver addictively entertaining and provocative stories that we’ve all come to love. We’re excited for viewers to experience the next chapter of this Emmy Award-winning drama.”
The Morning Show actress Jennifer Aniston, who also serves as an executive producer, earlier summed up how the show’s stars have been behind the scenes. She told People, “We’re involved in every single aspect of the show, on top of just the performance side, which is a big piece of it. But I’ve got incredible support, and we have such an incredible team.”
As for a release date for The Morning Show Season 5, it is yet to be announced. The platform has been quite consistent with its releases, bringing a new installment every two years. If this pattern continues, fans can expect a new 10-episode installment around September 2027.
The story is anchored around Aniston and Witherspoon’s characters, and thus, they are expected to make a return. The majority of other familiar faces might return; however, Greta Lee confirmed earlier that she will make an exit after Season 4.
She cited scheduling conflicts as the reason for her departure, calling such shows “such a commitment.” “We kept trying, and it just got harder and harder, scheduling-wise, to be there and to be able to hand over my resources and time to keep being on the show,” Lee added. (via THR)
