The Los Angeles Dodgers look to complete a sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers tonight in Game 4 of the NLCS at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers beat the Brewers 3–1 on Thursday to take a 3–0 series lead. Los Angeles got the go-ahead run in the sixth when Tommy Edman hit a single, and they added another run after a throwing error by reliever Abner Uribe.

On the mound, Tyler Glasnow delivered a strong start, keeping Milwaukee in check through 5.2 innings and allowing just one run. The Dodgers’ bullpen then covered 3⅓ scoreless innings, with Roki Sasaki — L.A.’s new closer —wrapping up the game in the ninth.

For Milwaukee, rookie Jacob Misiorowski struck out nine in five innings but was tagged with the loss after giving up the two runs that decided it. The Brewers’ offense again struggled, going 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position and struck out 12 times. Adding a late concern: Jackson Chourio exited in the seventh with a right leg cramp, though he downplayed the injury afterward. He’s back in the lineup today.

With a 3–0 lead, the Dodgers have the chance to complete a sweep and go for their second World Series win in a row. Shohei Ohtani is slated to start for Los Angeles in Game 4. He’ll be pitching on 12 days’ rest, and though he’s struggled offensively this postseason with a .158 batting average, he remains a dual threat.

José Quintana gets the start for the Brewers. He’s had one appearance this postseason, pitching three scoreless innings in relief against the Chicago Cubs in the NLDS.

Prediction

Ohtani’s return to the mound on long rest gives Los Angeles a steady hand to close the series. The Dodgers’ pitching depth has contained Milwaukee all week, while the Brewers’ lineup continues to search for timely hits. Expect L.A. to complete the sweep in a low-scoring game.

Prediction: Dodgers 4, Brewers 2
