
MONKTON, MD—The suspect and victim have been identified following a domestic-related homicide in Monkton.
Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department arrived at the 900-block of Maplehurst Lane at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Monday morning after receiving a domestic disturbance call.
Upon reaching the scene, officers located a 56-year-old female, now identified as Kimberly Lechner, who had sustained trauma-related injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police now say 55-year-old Anthony Lechner, the victim’s husband, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
