A former NFL player has pleaded guilty in a human trafficking and gang case that included eight other people and has been sentenced to prison.
Attorney General Chris Carr announced that Eric Duane Johnson, 49, pleaded guilty to gang, racketeering, and pimping charges. He was sentenced to 20 years with the first 10 years to serve in prison.

Johnson is a former Atlanta Falcons player who most notably scored a special teams touchdown for the Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII.

All nine defendants originally charged in the case have been convicted.
Carr says they are all part of the LOTTO Gang, also known as the Last One To Take Over Gang or the 30% Gang. Prosecutors say the street gang is affiliated with the Crips and Gangster Disciples.
