WHITE MARSH, MD—Crews responded to a reported explosion in the White Marsh on Tuesday morning.

At just after 10:45 a.m. on September 23, units from the Baltimore County Fire Department responded to a report of an explosion at Precinct 9, located at 8220 Perry Hall Blvd. (21236). Crews from the Fullerton fire station arrived within minutes and confirmed there was no active fire.

A county employee was injured while working on a boiler inside the building and was transported to Bayview Hospital with non-critical injuries.

Out of caution, the incident commander requested a building engineer to evaluate a structural crack observed by the incident commander. The building remains safe and fully operational.
