
TOWSON, MD—New York Times bestselling historical novelist Kate Quinn is slated to be the next featured guest in the Booked for Baltimore County Public Library series, the Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library has announced.
The free public event is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Kraushaar Auditorium on the Goucher College campus.
Quinn is known for her meticulously researched novels focusing on remarkable women in history, including The Alice Network, The Huntress, The Diamond Eye, and The Briar Club. At the event, she is expected to share insights into her writing process, historical research, and latest work.
High-Profile Author Series
The Booked for Baltimore County Public Library series aims to connect readers with world-class authors. The series launched in September with a sold-out appearance by Erik Larson, author of The Devil in the White City.
Sonia Alcántara-Antoine, CEO of the Baltimore County Public Library, emphasized the community aspect of the events.
“This series is about celebrating the power of books and storytelling to bring communities together,” Alcántara-Antoine said. “We’re delighted to welcome Kate Quinn, whose novels resonate with so many readers.”
Upcoming authors in the series include Jennifer Weiner on Feb. 22, 2026, and Pulitzer Prize winner Percival Everett on March 29, 2026.
Ticket Information
While the event is free to attend, reservations are required. Tickets will become available to the public at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, and can be reserved through the Goucher Ticket Office website.
The series is presented by the Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library with support from M&T Bank, Bonnie Clark, and APGFCU.
