MIDDLE RIVER, MD—The Bengies Drive-In Theatre is gearing up for a festive Halloween event, inviting families, friends, and local businesses to participate in its annual Trunk or Treat celebration on Saturday, October 25th.
The event, which allows children to safely trick-or-treat from decorated vehicles before the night’s double feature, encourages attendees to bring their creativity and participate as “Trunkers.”
Perks for “Trunkers”
Anyone can decorate a trunk to hand out candy, and no prior registration is required to participate.
However, those who wish to be entered into a drawing for prizes must register their vehicle by Friday, October 24. Registered participants who show up on Saturday, October 25, will also receive a valuable incentive: a free All-In-The-Car Pass for a later visit to the drive-in, in addition to being eligible for the Best Decorated Trunk Contest.
The theatre’s website also indicates that the Trunk or Treat fun typically begins in the mid-afternoon, allowing plenty of time for trick-or-treating before the movie features begin around 7:00 p.m. Patrons interested in being Trunkers are encouraged to arrive early to set up their decorations.
