HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — One person was “seriously injured” after an early morning crash that happened on South Memorial Parkway on Wednesday.
HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster said that the crash happened at 11321 South Memorial Parkway around 1:16 a.m.
Huntsville Police told News 19 that the single vehicle crash happened after the driver lost control of the vehicle due to driving at a high rate of speed. HPD said that the vehicle also rolled over during the incident.
One person was taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services. Webster said that the individual is in critical condition at this time.
The crash remains under investigation by the Huntsville Police Department and the Huntsville Fire Department.
