We saw some key wide receivers go down with injuries during Week 6. Among the more noteworthy names were Puka Nacua (ankle), Garrett Wilson (knee), and Emeka Egbuka (hamstring). That might force many fantasy managers to the waiver wire for reinforcements. We’ll highlight two wide receivers among our five Week 7 fantasy football sleepers that you should target to help your team.

1. Kimani Vidal, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

With Najee Harris (Achilles) and Omarion Hampton (ankle) on injured reserve, the Chargers are down to Vidal and Hassan Haskins at running back. It looks like they want to give the majority of the work to Vidal, who had 18 carries, 124 rushing yards, three receptions, 14 receiving yards, and one touchdown against the Dolphins in Week 6. Haskins finished the game with just six carries. Vidal is at least a fantasy flex option moving forward.

2. Sterling Shepard, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Injuries are piling up at wide receiver for the Buccaneers. Mike Evans (hamstring) could return in Week 7, but Egbuka and Chris Godwin (fibula) are expected to be out. That should mean more targets for Shepard, who has six receptions for 75 yards and one touchdown over his last two games. The Buccaneers might also be forced to throw a lot in their Week 7 matchup with the Lions, who have averaged 31.8 points per game.

3. Chig Okonkwo, TE, Tennessee Titans

Calvin Ridley left his Week 6 matchup against the Raiders with a hamstring injury, putting his status in doubt for Week 7. The Titans don’t have great depth at wide receiver, so they could look to Okonkwo to take on a larger workload. He has already been a borderline fantasy option before Ridley’s injury, posting at least four receptions and 46 receiving yards in three of his last four games.

4. Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns

Browns’ star tight end David Njoku left Week 6 with a knee injury against the Steelers. Fannin stepped up in his absence, catching seven of 10 targets for 81 yards. If Njoku misses Week 7, Fannin is a very appealing fantasy option versus a Dolphins team that has allowed the third-most receiving yards to tight ends in the league.

5. Kayshon Boutte, WR, New England Patriots

The Patriots will face the Titans in Week 7, making for a favorable matchup for their offense. Their wide receivers could really thrive with the Titans allowing an average of 9.14 yards per target to the position. Don’t sleep on Boutte, who caught all five of his targets for 93 yards and two touchdowns against the Saints in Week 6. He certainly has big-play upside, with him having an average depth of target of 15.1 yards.
