BALTIMORE, MD—The Independent Investigations Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General has identified the decedent and the Baltimore County Police Department officers involved in the fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Dundalk.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Larkhall Road when officers from the Dundalk Precinct responded to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect in the window of the location.

Police say an encounter with the armed subject led to six officers discharging their firearms, striking the male. The man sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A firearm was recovered from the location. No officers or other members of the public were injured during the incident.

The decedent is identified as 55-year-old Robert Adams of Dundalk.

The involved BCoPD officers are Police Officer First Class Andrew Meyer, 6 years of service; Police Officer First Class Malik McLaughlin, 6 years of service; Police Officer First Class Austin Kiss, 4 years of service; Police Officer First Class Nicholas Cook, 3 years of service; Officer Mason Rice, 1 year of service; and Officer Luke Eubert, 1 year of service. All officers are assigned to the Operations Bureau.
