PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A train crashed into a logging truck near Canby Monday morning, officials said.

At around 8:15 a.m., the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to reports of the crash involving a Union Pacific train and a logging truck on South Barlow Road, where it crosses Highway 99 East.

Authorities said that the truck had been driving on Barlow Road when it stopped at a red light.

While stopped, the train crossing activated, and the truck was unable to move out of the way without crashing into other vehicles.

The train hit the logging truck between two trailers, officials said, and no injuries were reported.

Barlow Road at Highway 99 East is expected to remain closed for several hours while authorities investigate, and drivers are advised to find an alternate route.
