DUNDALK, MD—Baltimore County Police have obtained an arrest warrant in connection with the stabbing of a 12-year-old boy early Thursday in the Dundalk area, authorities announced.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of Liberty Parkway (21222) at around 4:45 a.m. on October 2 for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, they located a male juvenile suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body, according to a release from the Baltimore County Police Department.

Detectives are investigating the incident as a domestic matter. Police stated that charges are pending and that there are no outstanding subjects being sought. Authorities also emphasized that there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The victim’s condition was not immediately released. The police department did not identify the juvenile or the person named in the warrant.
